Detailed itineraries

Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park
On arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by our representative. Early morning departure from Nairobi driving southwards through Maasai country arriving at the plains below Mt. Kilimanjaro where Amboseli is situated in time for lunch. Enjoy afternoon game drives in the scenic Amboseli National Park till evening.

Day 2: Amboseli National Park
Early morning game drive in Amboseli, famous for the large elephant herds and a variety of other wild species. One also gets to have spectacular views of Africa’s highest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro, on a clear day. Return to the lodge for breakfast and the rest of the morning will be at leisure. After lunch, depart for an afternoon game drive for a chance to explore the park further.

Day 3: Amboseli National Park – Tsavo West National Park
After breakfast, depart for Tsavo West. One of its interesting features is Mzima Springs. Clear, clean water comes from the Chyulu Hills goes underground then surfaces in the form of springs. The hills are volcanic with black lava.  After lunch, depart for an afternoon game drive. This park is the largest national park in Kenya – 20,567 square kilometres. It is partly hilly and even  mountainous.

Day 4: Tsavo West National Park – Tsavo East National Park
Early morning departure to Tsavo East, the land of elephants. After lunch, enjoy the various attractions in this park in an afternoon game drive. The park offers some of the most magnificent game drives in the world. Some of the attractions that visitors can enjoy in Tsavo East National Park are the larger herds of elephants, rhinos and Hirola (hunter’s hartebeest); Man eaters of Tsavo; Aruba Dam, located on the north bank of the seasonal Voi River, and which is visited by thousands of animals and making it a great game viewing destination; Mudanda Rock, which is a whale-backed rock towering above a natural dam and which acts as a draw to hundreds of elephant; The Yatta Plateau, which is the longest lava flow in the world and an ornithological paradise that attracts migrating birds from all over the world; The Lugards Falls, through which the waters of the Galana River plunge into foaming rapids and crocodile-infested pools; Tsavo/Athi Rivers confluence when the two rivers join they form the Galana River.

Day 5: Tsavo East National Park – Nairobi
An early morning game drive permits further exploration of this great park followed by breakfast. Afterwards departure to Nairobi arriving in the afternoon. Lunch on this day will be on own. You will then be transferred to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your outbound flight.
Meals: Breakfast only
