Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park

Early morning pick up and departure to Amboseli arriving at the foothill of the majestic Mt. Kilimanjaro in time for lunch. Afterwards, proceed to the scenic Amboseli National Park for game drives till evening.

Day 2 & 3: Amboseli National Park

Two days exploration of the park through morning and afternoon game drives, with the majestic Kilimanjaro in the background.

Day 4: Amboseli National Park – The Aberdare Ranges

Early morning departure from Amboseli, with final short game drives en route arriving at the fascinating Pampa Restaurant for fine Brazilian cuisine. Proceed to the rolling Aberdare Ranges and heavily forested slopes and moorlands, spending the night in a camp.

Dinner and overnight at KWS Bandas

Day 5: Aberdare Ranges – Samburu National Reserve

After breakfast depart further north across the Equator to the edge of the Northern Frontier arriving in time for lunch at the semi arid Samburu countryside. After lunch proceed for a refreshing afternoon game drive in the diverse landscape of thorn scrub, red dirt, dried river beds, broken volcanic rock, steep hills, and rocky outcroppings.

Day 6 & 7: Samburu National Reserve

Two day exploration of the park through morning and afternoon game drives, with breaks for meals in-between.

Day 8: Samburu National Park – Mt. Kenya National Park

Morning departure to Mt. Kenya National Park, which is famous for mountain climbing lovers. Spend the rest of the day enjoying game drives within the park which is rich in elephants, forest hog, bongo and other wildlife species.

Day 9: Mt. Kenya National Park – Thompson Falls – Lake Baringo via Lake Bogoria

Early morning departure to the beautiful Nyahururu Thompson Falls for a scenic view of the falls. Thereafter proceed to the shallow soda Lake Bogoria to visit the hot springs and geysers and new home to the flamingo population. After lunch proceed to the beautiful Lake Baringo where you may enjoy the pleasure of an evening bird walk as you watch hippo, crocodiles and monitor lizards at the shoreline. Boat rides are also available for a small fee.

Day 10: Lake Baringo – Lake Nakuru National Park

Enjoy a morning walk at the shores of the lake or another boat ride in search of hippo, crocodile, and fish eagle. Proceed to Lake Nakuru for lunch and an afternoon game drive and walk at the shores of the lake.

Day 11: Lake Nakuru National Park – Maasai Mara

Morning departure to the famous Maasai Mara via the Great Rift Valley and Narok town arriving in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive.

Day 12 & 13: Maasai Mara

Two full days to be spent viewing game, especially the fascinating wildebeest exodus in July and August when millions of these grass eaters move north from the Serengeti in search of lush grass before turning south again in October.

Day 14: Maasai Mara – Nairobi

Morning departure to Nairobi arriving in time for lunch at the famous Carnivore restaurant, the meat eaters paradise. Thereafter transfer to your preferred location within Nairobi city.
