A superb 2 Days/1 Night Kenya Lake Naivasha Trip through Kenya Great Rift Valley outstanding and magnificent views. Lake Naivasha is a freshwater lake with abundant bird life.

Day 1: Nairobi – Lake Naivasha

Early morning departure from Nairobi to Lake Naivasha passing through the wall of the Great Rift Valley. Lake Naivasha is a freshwater lake. It is on the floor of the East African Rift Valley. Bird life is particularly abundant (over 450 species). It is a breeding ground for cormorants all year round. You might see pelicans and spoonbills perched on the dead trees. There are two species of fish breeding in this fresh water lake, black bass and tilapia. The Tilapias are ‘mouth breeders’. Crescent Island in the Lake is part of the rim of a submerged volcano whose crater forms the deepest part of the Lake. There are optional activities such as boat ride or crescent Island tour can be booked and paid for locally. Lunch is at the camp/lodge. The rest of the afternoon will be spent at leisure.

Day 2: Depart

After breakfast at the lodge, depart for Nairobi. You will be transferred back to your preferred destination within Nairobi city. (B)
